The Tradition Canadian Special Edition (SE) guitar was our first model and was the guitar that started it all. Lovingly called “Special Edition”, this guitar features domestic woods, balanced tone, fast “D” profile neck – this is essentially Mike Miltimore’s Dream guitar. One month after its release Mike was nominated and won runner up for the Young Entrepreneur of the year for Canada.
Chillakwian maple came from our visit to the tonewood sawmills and we saw the enormous amount of waste wood while looking for that “perfect” piece that looks like catalog pictures. This beautiful wood is just like nature, uniquely gorgeous! We struck up a deal to use this “in between wood” and the rest is history! Welcome BC Chillakwian Maple! Since then The Chillakwian back and sides with Sitka Spruce top combination has been compared to pre-war classics and is a favourite with many musicians. A tight, crisp bottom end with a crystal clear top end make this guitar a finger-picking dream. An easy 1/2 turn of the patent pending neck angle adjustment yields a .5mm adjustment at the 12th fret. Chord chime evenly all the way up the neck and single note runs are smooth and even, due to the wide resonant response of the body.

Adjustable Body Angle
Our action is raised or lowered by a simple adjustment of the body angle. Changing the body angle eliminated the need to adjust your action by destructively sanding your saddle and losing tone.
Tension Free Design
Our patent pending “Neck Thru” design reduces the tension across the guitar top allowing Riversong guitars to use less structural bracing and have more resonant area.
Adjustable Top Loading
Whether you use light or heavy gauge strings, Riversong has a system for adjusting the stiffness of your guitar top.
The neck can move in and out of the pocket where it sits allowing for micro-adjustments while under tension. NO MORE COMPROMISE ON INTONATION!
One-Piece 24 Fret Neck
Our neck runs continuously under the fretboard to the 24th fret for even tone and volume, while eliminating 14th fret hump.
Straight Pull Headstock Design
There is no sideways tension through the nut, resulting in better tuning stability and tone.
Less Kerf = More Tone
We use 1/3 the kerfing, and our top is directly connected to the side and back for better energy transfer.
