The Tradition Canadian Deluxe uses a combination of woods that took three years of research and development to get tone balanced from string to string and bass to treble. Imagine punchy Engelmann Spruce with AAA Chillakwian Maple back and sides, you would have a loud, dynamically responsive instrument that looks amazing. Satin Finished with no stain allows Mother Nature’s art to be shown untouched. Each guitar is as unique as the player strumming it. A Walnut fretboard with our graduated Maple Leaf inlay makes this guitar stand out as a 100% domestic wood instrument. Carrying on the tradition of the CDN SE guitar we use 3A Chillakwian Maple back and Sides, 3A Sitka Spruce top and incorporate our maple and walnut River Rosette. The fretboard is made out of walnut. Walnut is very similar to Rosewood but grows in North America, we inlay real maple leafs for fret markers. The rosette is also a deluxe wood inlaid river rosette.
With great reviews from magazines such as Acoustic Magazine (Jan. 2016) — “the next ‘big” thing” , Acoustic Guitar (July 2015) – “Flawless craftsmanship” and Collectible Guitar – “This guitar has it’s own voice” the Trad DLX aims to please with its big and open chordal sound. This guitar has become our most popular model. The electronics are US made Fishman pickups. Special US made Nickel Silver fretwire with increased barbs for a solid and secure connection is just another difference that makes Riversong Guitars the player’s choice.

Adjustable Body Angle
Our action is raised or lowered by a simple adjustment of the body angle. Changing the body angle eliminated the need to adjust your action by destructively sanding your saddle and losing tone.
Tension Free Design
Our patent pending “Neck Thru” design reduces the tension across the guitar top allowing Riversong guitars to use less structural bracing and have more resonant area.
Adjustable Top Loading
Whether you use light or heavy gauge strings, Riversong has a system for adjusting the stiffness of your guitar top.
The neck can move in and out of the pocket where it sits allowing for micro-adjustments while under tension. NO MORE COMPROMISE ON INTONATION!
One-Piece 24 Fret Neck
Our neck runs continuously under the fretboard to the 24th fret for even tone and volume, while eliminating 14th fret hump.
Straight Pull Headstock Design
There is no sideways tension through the nut, resulting in better tuning stability and tone.
Less Kerf = More Tone
We use 1/3 the kerfing, and our top is directly connected to the side and back for better energy transfer.
