Classic combination of woods is what thisguitar is all about and the Tradition 3 Performer has the combination of solid tonewoods that many legendary guitars have had. Pacific Northwest Engelmann Spruce from the heart of British Columbia, AAA Indian Rosewood back and sides for that characteristic low end punch, and an Ebony fretboard. Built with bluegrass players in mind, this guitar has seen success with the fingerstyle players as well. Straight tight grain Engelmann gives this guitar a rich sound equal to its stunning looks.
The extended cutaway gives great access to the 2-octave 24-fret neck. The look of the guitar wouldn’t be complete without our river rosette made from Maple and Rosewood. If you are looking for that classic wood combination with Riversong’s unique system, then this is the guitar for you!

Adjustable Body Angle
Our action is raised or lowered by a simple adjustment of the body angle. Changing the body angle eliminated the need to adjust your action by destructively sanding your saddle and losing tone.
Tension Free Design
Our patent pending “Neck Thru” design reduces the tension across the guitar top allowing Riversong guitars to use less structural bracing and have more resonant area.
Adjustable Top Loading
Whether you use light or heavy gauge strings, Riversong has a system for adjusting the stiffness of your guitar top.
The neck can move in and out of the pocket where it sits allowing for micro-adjustments while under tension. NO MORE COMPROMISE ON INTONATION!
One-Piece 24 Fret Neck
Our neck runs continuously under the fretboard to the 24th fret for even tone and volume, while eliminating 14th fret hump.
Straight Pull Headstock Design
There is no sideways tension through the nut, resulting in better tuning stability and tone.
Less Kerf = More Tone
We use 1/3 the kerfing, and our top is directly connected to the side and back for better energy transfer.
